| The conference program will
consist of three pillars: < alt="Small blue slug." width="8" border="0" height="8" hspace="6">the Media Pillar relating to the programming, production and distribution of television, film and new media for children and youth the Media Education Pillar for those involved with media education the Academic Pillar which will present papers relating to media and media education. Summit 2000 is being designed for maximum interaction. Participants from the television, new media and media education sections will challenge assumptions, explore issues and seek out innovations through case studies, workshops and panels. Delegates will be encouraged to particpate in both content streams and explore the intricate and important world of screen-based media for young people. The deadline for the
submission of papers and workshops has now expired. |
